My paintings have taken me on this incredible journey. I had done artwork as a teen and had even won awards for it. I continued to paint as a young mother, but I did pen and inks with watercolor washes. I even sold some. But then I went to law school and had a law career in Baltimore.
After being retired for a number of years, my husband gave me the gift that has become my passion. He gave me an art class for my birthday. Once I started painting there was just no stopping me.
I am so fortunate to not only have found my passion, but to have been rewarded for it. I have won many awards for my paintings and also had paintings accepted into more and more prestigious competitions, where just being accepted is an honor. Honestly, I cried when i got the phone calls saying i had won!
